Dynamic Discs adds warehouse to local operations

A popular brand of disc golf equipment based in Emporia is expanding.

Dynamic Discs has acquired a 10,000 square-foot warehouse for distribution purposes at 3601 West Sixth, dovetailing with current retail and office operations at 912 Commercial.

Owner Jeremy Rusco says the purchase of Latitude 64 and that company's agreement to produce "signature" equipment for Dynamic Discs has led to rapid demand across the sport and the need for additional facilities.

Rusco says the first container of discs and other equipment will be at the warehouse in a few weeks, in time for the start of the season in March and the Glass Blown Open, sponsored by Dynamic Discs, in early May. He also says the warehouse will hold baskets, bags and shoes among other items.

Rusco founded the company in 2005. He says the sport is likely to grow at a rapid rate, meaning the potential for long-term growth at Dynamic Discs is high. He anticipates staffers will be working overtime to fill orders once merchandise is in the warehouse.
