Authorities say icy conditions may have contributed to an injury accident near Olpe early Thursday morning but were probably not a major factor.
Undersheriff John Koelsch says 56-year-old Wayne Baird of Reading was southbound on Kansas Highway 99 near Road "K-5." Baird went straight where the highway curves to the southeast, rolling his car.
Baird was hospitalized at Newman Regional Health, which does not release patient conditions to the media.
The investigation continues into the accident.
