No new information in Osage-Franklin County cold case murder

Osage County Sheriff Laurie Dunn says it's been long enough that someone needs to step forward with information regarding the murder of Tonie Standley.

It's been seven years since Standley's body was found in rural Franklin County, near the Franklin-Osage County line.

In December of 2006, Standley was found dead by hunters in rural Franklin County. Her death was ruled a homicide, and details of the cause of death have not been released. Standley was last seen near her home in Quenemo on Dec. 7th, 2006.

Dunn says there's been a little bit of information coming in since the case went "cold," but nothing strong enough to file charges on.

If anyone has any information on this cold case, call Osage County Sheriff's Office at 785-828-3121, or Osage County Crime Stoppers at 877-OS-CRIME.
