Bowyer Building fills up for TFI Family Auction

TFI Family Services held their 23rd annual Holiday Benefit Auction in a packed Bowyer Building Wednesday night. Over 50 items were up for a live auction.

This year's auction raised over $25,000. A basketball signed by KU went for over $500, and ten yards of concrete went for over $800. Proceeds from the auction will benefit the foster families TFI supports. Public Affairs Supervisor Lisa Bozarth says the money raised from the auction goes to a good cause.

Last year the TFI auction raised around $15,000.

Today TFI has approximately 300 employees with 15 offices in Kansas as well as Nebraska, Oklahoma and Texas.  A Missouri office is expected to open soon. Locally, TFI has 20 foster homes with 49 children in foster care.
