Flint Hills Foundation scholarship program edging ever closer to goal of 50

The Flint Hills Foundation 50-50-50 scholarship campaign is "going really well," according to director Mike Crouch. Currently, they stand at 45 scholarships, very close to their goal of 50 by the end of the year. Crouch says he's willing to exceed that amount, so long as people are willing to keep giving.

Crouch says there are still plenty of opportunities to set up scholarships through the Foundation. The Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting students through the Flint Hills Technical College. Crouch says any donation to the Foundation is tax-deductible, because it is a non-profit.

The Flint Hills Foundation is going to take a break over Christmas, of course, but once 2014 begins, they will be preparing for their annual auction.
