Customers of Rural Water District No. 4 can start using their water normally again.
Kansas Department of Health and Environment has lifted the boil water advisory in place since Sunday. Testing of different points in the system showed no signs of contamination despite a water main break over the weekend.
District administrator Norma Hoover says the leak this time was "a bit further east" of a 6-inch line break that developed in August near Roads 175 and "S" and had customers boiling their water for four days before that particular advisory was lifted.
