Julian Harris, age 39 of Jacksonville, Fla., was northbound when 21-year-old Adrian Trotter of Topeka stepped out in front of his truck. Trotter and a passenger, 31-year-old Joshua Rogers of Topeka, ran from the wreck scene. Rogers was later Saturday morning, walking along a road in Osage County.

Bott says 55-year-old Patricia Stark of Allen was northbound when her crash happened. Stark's car hit Trotter's vehicle about 20 minutes before the fatality accident.

Two other vehicles crashed at or near that location between 6 and 9 pm Friday evening as well.
