The Emporia State mens basketball team played their final exhibition game Saturday against Wichita State. The Shockers rolled to a 93-50 win over the Hornets.
The Hornets stayed close early in the game before Wichita State blew the game open. The Shockers led 49-26 at halftime and never looked back. Emporia State shot 36 percent from the floor, the Shockers hit 52 percent of their shots. Wichita State was 25-33 from the freethrow line. Emporia State was 8-11. Terrence Moore led Emporia State with 15 points. Kaleb Wright added 12 points. Wichita State was led by Cleanthony Early with 21 points. Emporia State plays at Rockhurst Sunday night, tip-off is set for 7pm.
