EMPORIA BLOOD DRIVE

 

On Thursday, May 29 ^th, and Friday, May 30^th, the Westminster Presbyterian Church will hold a community blood drive in Emporia. Thursday hours will be 1-7 PM. Friday hours 8 AM – 2 PM. The church is located at 1702 W. 15^th. Prospective donors may call for an appointment at 800-GIVE-LIFE.

 

 

ABUNDANT HARVEST MEALS

 

Abundant Harvest serves meals Mon-Thurs. at the Heritage House, 1028 Whittier, evenings at 5:30. There is no charge and all are welcome. If you would like to volunteer, call Betsey at 342-7439.

 

 

FRIENDSHIP MEALS VOLUNTEERS NEEDED

 

Do you have an hour to spare at least once a week?  Friendship Meals need volunteer drivers to deliver noon meals to shut-in seniors. Delivery time is usually 10:30-11:30 AM. Mileage is reimbursed. Call Terry for information at 340-8001 or 481-1045

 

 

SALVATION ARMY DISASTER TRAINING

 

Salvation Army Disaster Services (EDS) is looking for volunteers willing to serve during times of need. A meeting is held the last Monday of each month at the Salvation Army annex, 209 W. 4^th, at 7 PM.
